These Days

Thanking you for being here. No, really. THANK YOU.

Drinking tea like it’s my job.  I like to take my gigantic travel mug and use one Moroccan mint tea bag, and one green tea bag.  I love the blend!

Scratching the idea of Christmas cards this year.  AND not feeling bad about it at all.

Craving an avocado BLT from my favorite local dining establishment. [best sandwich of  my life!]

Reading this.

Battling negativity. As best I can.  This has been heavy on my heart the past few months, and an even stronger focus this week.  I am continuing on a quest to step away from the negative people in my life, and really truly focus on the most positive of friendships.  I had a great talk with my sweet friend Julie about this last night, and I really feel recharged in the right direction. Also, Laura’s recent post, The Positivity Push, really stirred me.  READ IT.

Watching an episode or two of The Big Bang Theory reruns on TBS every other night or so.  Bazinga!

Transfering music from my netbook to my laptop.  I am so excited to be able to make some mixed CDs for friends across the globe!

Collecting Box Tops from gracious co-workers, neighbors, and friends who all want to help me in my quest to support my former school district.  I have a large pile on my desk I’m getting ready to send out soon.

Wanting to share with you.  I have an extra copy of RENT on DVD, and two CDs (TSL & NG) that I’d love to pass on to someone who would enjoy them.  First come, first serve! Let me know if you are interested in any of the discs and I’ll send them your way.

Awesome-ing up December as much as possible.

Preparing for holiday baking.  I plan on sending a big-ole box of treats to several houses this year, and have been collecting recipes, supplies, packaging and inspiration for weeks now.  My latest quest? Best shipping methods.  I have my own way of course, but I am determined to learn more.  Searching the internet, I found a few blog posts with great suggestions, but am ready to hear all of YOUR suggestions, too.  Ready? Go.
