1. I promise this is not going to become a blog about my kitten. [We'll get back to regular scheduled programming v. soon around here.]
2. When he first found us, I stated that I wasn’t going to commit to him until Wednesday, which was yesterday.
3. We took a trip to Petsmart with 4 cameras on us and didn’t manage to take one photo of the experience. Oops. #BloggerFail.
4. Clearly, I’ve committed. [See #3] I even got a Petsmart rewards card. ahem.
4. I finally decided on a name.
5. Another pop-culture reference/entertainment favorite, for sure.

I was at Petsmart yesterday as well. We met an adorable Boston Terrier puppy named Lulu and picked up cat food. I forgot to tweet back about kitty food, but I generally used the IAMS brand when the kits were little ones, although sometimes I swapped in cheaper brands when times were tougher. I now use the Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula and the kitties go bat-shit over it. No idea why, but a giant bag is only 13 bucks usually so it works for me. 
Also invest in wet food as treats when the kitty gets older, and catnip won’t really effect the cat until after 6 months or so (though some are completely immune, hope yours is not as it’s hilarious). Welcome to being a cat lady for the rest of your life, haha!

Super cute kitten and awesome name. We named our youngest cat “Enzo” because he was such a fast little guy when we first got him. I love kitties!

oh my word. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that your dog is named Fin! but, no – sadly, Benson is not named after Olivia. He’s named after one of my favorite comedians – Doug Benson!
My reading comprehension skills are seriously lacking! I even looked at the list of podcasts and didn’t put the Benson/Benson thing together because I got all “OMGlaw&ordersqueal!!!!” in my head. Still an amazing kitty name and mentally I may refer to him as Olivia

I’m glad to hear you say that you’ve committed to Benson. I knew from the first night that you couldn’t let him go. The smile on your face (in the picture that is on this Blog) told it all. Enjoy all that he will bring to you ;^)
I think we all knew I would keep him, I just needed some convincing that I could handle it and that now was the right time. I’ve been saying for A LONG time that I am too selfish to get another pet [I haven't had one since Isaac and Cohen] and needed some reassurance that I could have everything under control. Your son was a MAJOR help in this, and in taking care of every little thing Benson needed while I was away.
