When I was in Denton, Kelsey asked me for a few hours of my time.
”I want to help you cross something off your 101 in 1001 list!” she confessed, “But it’s a surprise.”
Knowing that Kelsey is a) uber creative, b) amazingly fun, and c) never short of going balls-to-the-wall, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. But that didn’t stop me from agreeing to meet her one weekday afternoon in the hot Texas sun.
A few hours before our scheduled date, as Laura and I were sitting in the Manor being productive, I received a few clue texts from Kelsey.
“Clue #1: The secret plan will make you sweaty, make sure your attire’s ready.”
“Clue #2: This souped up version won’t be easy, though kids prefer it light and breezy.”
Not long after, Laura [assigned photographer] joined me for a walk to Kelsey’s house for SURPRISE! Hopscotch Domination!
Kels set up an super challenging hopscotch workout in her driveway for us to tackle as a competition. We were to each go through the course three times; once on the left foot, once on the right, and once as fast and as hard as we could using whichever foot we chose.
Before the competition officially began, Kelsey gave us a quick demonstration of how it was to be done. There were 31 steps.

[...] Laura is a blogger who is very dear to my heart! She was at the big meet up we had when heather came to town, AND she was a co-conspirator when I sabotaged Heather, and made her participate in total hopscotch domination! [...]
