My mother has been making this delicious recipe for as long as I can remember.  She got the recipe originally from her mother-in-law, my Grandma Shugarman!

In my adulthood, this has quickly become a favorite summer beverage staple.  I was very excited to learn that this slush was being served during Graduation weekend in Denton! Consider yourself warned: these go down VERY easily.  Be prepared to enjoy with a side of giggle πŸ˜‰

Thank you for calling it POP and not SODA. That shows, that not only are you a Wisco girl, but you are a Dane, Columbia, Sauk County Wisco girl πŸ™‚ Also, just wanted to tell you that I drove through Lodi this last weekend to get to my cottage. Sometimes I forget how beautiful the scenery is until I am driving up there for my first weekend in the summer. πŸ™‚ Only you can appreciate this. No Susie the Duck sightings though πŸ™

You forgot to mention that the reason you know this recipe is because you made the 2nd and 3rd batches (replenishing the smiles)! πŸ˜‰
